Hej i solen!

Kram Kerstin

A scene from a fairy tale

Inlägget postat av on June 21, 2017 | | 416 kommentarer »

Hello everyone!

It’s Kathrin again – and now I want to share with you a card with a scene that seems to come right out of a fairy tale:

I went with yellow, black and a grey-ish blue for my card and used papers with a star pattern since I think it goes great with the image and theme of my card.

I also added some die cut wings to the top left of my card. And to somehow connect the image with the rest of the card I’ve diecut some trees and put them to the bottom right of the image, going over the image and then continue on the card.

And here’s the image. It’s made using different stamps from the Fantasy 1, Fantasy 2, Fantasy 3 and the Grass Kit stamp sets. These all go so great together.

I started with the background of the scene which I made using Distress Ink Weatered Wood and Iced Spruce. On this background I then stamped the castle and the trees. I wanted those to look like they are surrounded by fog. So I used some white ink and put this onto the stamped images, adding more ink to the bottom since the fog is coming from the ground.

After that I’ve added the moon, the tree on the left, the grass and the fairy, using black ink again. I also added some white dots to the sky to create some stars and used yellow ink around those to make them shine.

Have a magical day everyone!

Hugs, Kathrin

A twin baby card

Inlägget postat av on June 21, 2017 | | Inga kommentarer »

Hello everyone!

The first creation I want to share with you today is this baby card. It is made for a mixed couple of twins – and so the stamp Flisan & Oliver was the perfect pick:

I guess, originally these are meant to be two stamps. But stamped like shown on the product picture in the shop these two are just perfect for a twins’ card. And I love how they seem to look at each other with  a kind of surprised expression.

Since the image stamped like this is kind of large I only used two designer’s papers here and added a big die cut baby onesie. I tried to mix blues and pinks here, adding a hint of yellow as a more neutral color.

Besides Flisan and Olive, that are colored in with Copics and the no-lines technique, I also stamped the smaller one of the Pacifiers twice, colored those in also and placed them next to the image.

The text is made using single die cut letters and using two hearts as the i-dot.

Hope to see you all later for my second creation.

Hugs, Kathrin

Vilda Summer Fun Card

Inlägget postat av on June 19, 2017 | | 440 kommentarer »

Hello Everyone! Today I want to share with you a Summer Fun card that I created using one of the Adorable Zodiac stamps from Vilda Stamps.

For my card I used stamp Cancer V612 that you can find in the Vilda shop here:

http://shop.textalk.se/en/article.php?id=16232&art=7031370

I just love these Adorable Zodiac kids! They really can be used in so many ways, and for so many different occasions.

Copics Used:

Skin- E11, E00, E000, RV21, R20

Costume- R59, R27, R35, R22, R20, Boo, Y00

Distress Inks for background- Mermaid Lagoon, and oxide ink in Fossilized Amber.

To create my card first I stamped the super Adorable Zodiac Cancer kid onto 110 lb. plain white card stock. Next I colored the image in with Copics and then fussy cut this cutie out. I then cut a circle for my background of the shaker circle and blended Distress Ink to create an ocean sunset. I then cut out my mats and frames along with some decorative tropical die cuts. Next I cut a decorative circle frame for the top portion of my shaker. I then added clear acetate to the top and then lined the inside with foam tape. Next I sprinkled some blue and clear sequins inside, removed the foam tape, and then attached the shaker element to my card base. To finish I added the little Cancer stamped image with foam tape, added the die cut elements, and then added some pearls for some extra shine.

I hope that you enjoy my card, and are inspired to try out your own creations with these Amazing stamps from Vilda Stamps! Thank you for stopping by and have a Wonderful day!
