Hello again, everyone!

It’s Nancy back to share my second project!
This time I have made a fun little Bee Happy Card!

Here it is:

I stamped the adorable image onto watercolour paper.
I then coloured it with watercolour pencils and a water brush.
I then stamped and layered the sentiment.
It comes in the set, along with a second sentiment,
and two other cute images.

I make so many bee projects
that I decided it paid to invest in these fun nesting hexagon dies.
It created the perfect shape for my card base,
along with the fun layers!

To finish off the card,
I added some pretty Stickles to the flower and the wings!

Hello, everyone!

It’s Nancy back to share a project using wonderful Vilda Stamps!

Today I have made another CAS card.
It was fun and fast to put together!

Here it is:

I used a small flower motif from the V656 Stamp Set,
I stamped it randomly all over my background,
before adding it to my coloured card base.

I then stamped the sentiment from the V693 Stamp Set,
matted it, and adhered it in place with foam tape.

Finally, I added a small matching ribbon bow!
These days there seem to be even more reasons to send a card like this! :o)

Flowers: Geranium & Roses

Hello Everyone!!

It is time for my Design Team Projects for Vilda Stamps. I decided to make circle cards because I very rarely make them and they are very interesting. For both cards I used Vilda Stamps Flowers Geranium & Roses stamps set!

For the first card I stamped Geranium image on Neenah White cardstock with Extreme Black ink and colored with My Copic Markers.

C1, C3, C5 / R22, R24, R39, R46 / G21, G24, G28

When coloring was finished I added some details with White gel pen and die cut panel with Sizzix Circle die. I also die cut with same circle dies set two lager panels from red cardstock for backgroung panel and for card base too. On the second panel I added some lace from my stash.

Sentiment is from the same stamps set and I stamped with VersaMark clear ink on Red sentiment strip die cut with Blueprint 27 by MFT. For embossing I used White Detail Embossing powder.

For the second card I embossed roses with White Detail Embossing powder on red cardstock and die cut with circle die. Second Large circle I die cut from White cardstock with X-Cut Scalloped Circle die and for card base I used same red cardstock again.

For the sentimet I used MFt Chilli Powder Premium ink and stamped on White cardstock and die cut with smallest die from MFT Elegant Rectangle stax set.

I also decided to add some flowers and I used Wild Orchid Crafts Double Head Pearl Stamens, Cherry Blossom mix and Pastel Sweetheart Blossom Mix Collections.

Hello, again!

It’s Nancy back with my second project!

This time I have made a fun layered tag,

using V656 – Kit With Flower Elves Stamp Set,
and V693 – English Texts 2010 Stamp Set.

Here it is:

I stamped the image onto watercolour paper,
and coloured it using watercolour pencils and a water brush.
Once it was dry, I cut it out using a shaped die.
I then cut a largie shape from purple cardstock,
and one larger still from the designer paper.
I then adhered the purple cardstock onto the designer paper.
I then attached the stamped image in place with a small purple brad.

Here’s a closer look at the image:

Here’s why I attached the image piece with a brad.
The piece can swivel out of the way to reveal the stamped sentiment,
and space to leave a private note.

To finish off my tag,
I added a crinkled seam binding bow to the top of the tag.
Finally, I added some stickles to the image to make it sparkle!

Good Friends Are Like Stars…

Hello, everyone!

It’s Nancy back with a new project share,
using more wonderful Vilda Stamps.

Here it is:

I began with an A2 white cardstock card base.
I covered the front of the card with yellow cardstock.
I cut a piece of white cardstock to 4″ x 5 1/4″,
and stamped it randomly with the Star stamp from the V850 set.

When the yellow ink was set,
I stamped the sentiment from V693 with embossing ink.
I then sprinkled it with black embossing powder and heat set it.
In the photo above you cand see the lovely shine of the embossing.

In the photo below you can see the detail of the stamp.
I really like the style of it;
such a fun mixture of fonts with some fun distressing.
