A love themed card

Hello everyone!

This is Kathrin today and I want to share with you a love themed card that turned out completly different than I had planned. I wanted to make a clean and simple card but felt like there was missing something. So I added more and more stuff, still trying to stick to clean. I am still not 100 % happy with the outcome, but decided I have to stop or I would ruin it. So, here’s the card I am talking about:

I started with a white card base and put a layer of plain dark red cardstock on top of it. Across this I’ve put some wide lace before adding a layer of a light blue designer’s paper with a hearts print. On top of that I arranged all the stamps I wanted to use.

I started with the larger one of the Posters here and put the heart with the “ever and always” saying that was heat embossed with white powder onto red cardstock on top of it. The largest of the Glass Bottles was stamped with a light grey in and colored in with Copics. Then I used a small heart stamp to fill the bottle.

On top of all of that I used the 100 % love barcode stamp from the German Lyrics stamp set and cut it into a banner shape.

Behind all of this I’ve added some of the flowers from the Fantasy 2 stamp set. It was a bit fussy to hand cut them with their beautiful flourishes, but sometimes you have to do what needs to be done. In the end I also added some smaller lace and a doily.

Have a happy day!

Hugs, Kathrin
