Hej!

Dagens första inlägg är två kort som har mina nya favoritstämplar. Gillar verkligen silhuetter och sagotema. Oftast gör jag bakgrunderna själv men inte denna gång. jag lyckades hitta papper som stämde med att få det magiska skimret.

På det första kortet har jag glittrat lite på blommorna i hörnen.

Det andra kortet har älvorna fått glitter på vingarna och svampen har fått vita prickar.

Hej!

 

Idag bjuder jag på en tag med de nya stämplarna. Dessa underbara små älvor och roliga svampar och växter är så roliga att leka med. Och det finns så många av Vildas gamla stämplar som passar in med till dessa kort.

 

 

Runt kanterna har jag dragit med en limpenna (2 way glue) och låtit det torka något sedan så har jag lagt guldfolie uppe på,

blir en otroligt snygg effekt.

Bakgrunden är gjord med distresser, där jag jobbat in färgen med ett disress blending tool.

Hello again everyone!

Also my second project for this month is easter related. But instead of a card I’ve made a box that holds a surprise egg – or even a real colored egg if you want to:

The box is cut from white cardstock and covered with designer’s paper. This seems to be the month of unusual for me – because I normally never use yellow or orange… But I was bound with the yellow and orange chick, right? I also added some kind of apricot or peach and also used a ribbon of this color.

I used this cute bunny and chick building a pyramide from the Easter Kit V736. They are colored in with Copics and then cut out around the stamped lines.

Then I’ve die-cut an egg from yellow cardstock and since it looked too plain I used the Grunge Swirl V540 to add some pattern to it before wrapping a white ribbon and bow around it.

The box already was quite colorful to me, but it needed some grass for the bunny to sit in. So I stamped the lower grass from the Grass Kit V436 on some Vellum using green ink. Then I’ve cut it out with my scissors. That wasn’t the easiest to do, but it was worth the work, right?

And this is the opened box. Perfect for a little surprise, don’t you agree?

Hello everyone!

It won’t be long anymore and then Easter will be here. I don’t send out easter cards but I love to make them. They remind me of spring and warmer weather after a long and cold winter – not to mention that those bunnies and chickens are so cute. How could you resist? And so I made an easter card for my first post today, and I have to say it’s a little unusual for me and what my other cards look like:

I wanted to use those egg houses from the Easter Kit V736 so badly. But they had to be colorful. That means – at least for me – the rest of the card had be kept more simple because a lot of layers and many colors don’t go together well for me. So I used a designer’s paper in the background, added a green scalloped strip across the card and a white die cut saying meaning “easter greetings”.

The houses have been stamped and colored in with Copics. I stamped the image 3 times, coloring only one house each time and then cutting them out, starting with 3, then two and then one house to be able to put them together using 3D tape. Then I also stamped the cute easter egg with the mushrooms and added this as a 4th layer.

I glued the houses on a piece of watercolor paper that I added a light blue color onto first.

Here you can see how I mounted the houses on top of each other. To not make the white paper I stamped on be seen underneath the houses on top I used a middle grey marker and colored the hidden houses with it.

Hello again Everyone! I have one last Fairy Card that I would like to share with you today that I created using some of the new Gorgeous Fairy stamps from Vilda Stamps.

For my card I used the following Vilda Stamps:

To create my card first I used Distress ink in Wilted Violet, Mustard Seed, and Picked Raspberries to blend my rainbow background onto plain white card stock. Next I stamped over the distress background with the Fantasy 1 and Fantasy 2 stamps to create my scene with black Momento ink. Once I was happy with my scene, I then used distress ink in Vintage Photo to ink around the edges of my fairy scene to add some more detail and texture.

Next I cut my mats and frames and then attached them to my card base. To finish I added some paper flowers and rhinestones for some added extra embellishment and shine. These new stamp sets really are Amazing and make creating a Beautiful card so easy. You are not going to want to miss adding these to your collection. Thank you so very much for stopping by!
