Perpetual Calendar

Inlägget postat av on December 27, 2011 | | 157 kommentarer »

Hello,
it’s me again with my 3rd and last post for today:

Since I’ve forgotten some birthdays this year *shame on me*, I had the idea to work a perpetual calendar for birthdays for my friend, so that the same wouldn’t eventually happen to her *gg*.

For this I’ve created a mini-album, for which I’ve also used design paper from Kaisercraft.
The image, which I coloured with DI’s, then cut out and glued with 3D pads, is called Saga (V10).
I have decorated the calendar with a doily lace, roses, punched hinges, letters and butterflies.
To set a few small accents, I have glittered the image and the butterflies with Stickles and distressed the edges of the calendar, the hinges and letters with Walnut Stain.
The calendar is closed with a ribbon.

The single pages are worked like a Leporello with pockets, so there the tags with the individual months can be kept.

I have designed each month at the computer, then printed on watercolour paper, cut out, pasted on cardstock and decorated the finished tags with ribbons.

Have a nice day and thank you very much for your visit.

I wish you all a Happy New Year,

hugs,
Marina

Cake Mix in a Jar

Inlägget postat av on December 27, 2011 | | 4 kommentarer »

Hello, I’m back again with my 2nd post.

Matched to the card the birthday girl got this cake mix in a jar.

The glass is an old beetroot jar (of course well rinsed ;O)), in which I’ve filled the cake mix.
The tag I’ve cut out two times from watercolour paper and glued against each other, so it’s more stable.
The front I stamped with Letter Context (V260) and Walnut Stain, with which I also have distressed.
Then I coloured and cut out Tina (V445), “baked” a small cupcake and stuck both with 3D pads.
On the back of the tag I printed the recipe and stamped a few butterflies from the Flower Fairies Kit (V656).
To fasten the tag to the jar, I’ve punched out a hole with my eyelet tool, fastened an eyelet, wrapped a ribbon around the glass, pulled it through the hole and tied a bow.
The lid I covered with design paper from Kaisercraft and decorated it with a few roses, halfpearls and a self-adhesive border.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

I hope to see you later again,

hugs,
Marina

Cupcake

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones.

As a lovely friend celebrated her birthday and she not only loves stamps but also like to cook and bake, I made her this cupcake card:

The base of the card I created with an embossing board, used design paper from Kaisercraft for this and accented the dotty one with Glossy.
The image is called Tina (V445), is coloured with Distress Ink Refills, then cut out and glued with 3D pads.
I decorated with letters, which I die cut, flowers and a ribbon, from which I tied a bow and then fixed with a Moonstone Brad.
I’ve distressed with Walnut Stain.

I also decorated the inside a little, namely with letters, so the text “Sweet Wishes” was created and a Cupcake (V110), that is coloured with DI’s, too.

I hope you liked the card and thank you for stopping by.

Hugs,
Marina
