Hello again! This is a layout I made using the beautiful “For Mother” Collection by Pion Design. The photo of myself and my children was taken about 3 years ago.

I used a Martha Stewart punch to decorate two of the outside corners of my background paper.

Before I met my husband, I was a single mom for almost 8 years. But my children and I were happy because we had each other. 🙂

… a mix of lace, flowers and chipboard hearts by The Dusty Attic.

The Dusty Attic Heart Flourish was painted, inked and embossed with embossing powder by Lindy’s Stamp Gang.

These gorgeous swirls were stamped using the Stenswirl stamp by Vilda Stamps and embossed with an opaque white embossing powder. Then I fussy cut the swirls and adhered them to my layout.

I love these chipboard letters. They were painted white and inked with a Passionate Plum spray.

It’s hard to see from the photo, but I stamped a flourish border peeking out from under the paper using another Vilda Stamp called Grungeswirl. I embossed it with an opalescent embossing powder to add subtle texture.

Card for Mother’s Day

Hello everybody,
here’s my last project for today, a card, which I’ll take for Mother’s Day.

For the background paper I used the images Letter Context V260, Grunge Swirl V540, Splash Background V283 and the butterflies from the Kit Flower Fairies A5 V656 and worked it also as the papers of my previous projects.

The main image, this cute little girl, is from the new Kit with wedding-, children- and fishing- luck A5 V395 and coloured with Distress Inks.

I also used the German text V645.

I decorated my card with my self-made flowers, for which I die cut the “petals” with Spellies, a lace, rhinestones, a corner and several swirls, which are also die cut.

Mini Gift Bag

Hi there,

do you still need a gift for Mother’s Day? Then perhaps is this little bag, filled with sweets, an idea.

For the paper I used the images Letter Context V260, Grunge Swirl V540, Splash Background V283 and Three Medium Keys V45 and worked it as the paper of my Steampunk Key card.
This time I used the German text V641 as my main image, which is die cut with Spellbinders.

I decorated the box with a lace, a handmade flower and a swirl, which are all also die cut, ribbons and a rhinestone.
For the backside of my gift bag I used the stamp Watch Handmade by V444.

Handmade Papers

Hi everyone!

Since I felt like playing with my Distress Ink Pads and Vilda Stamps I made my own background papers and flowers for my today’s projects.

The first one, which I would like to show you, is this card with the main image Steampunk Key V651.

For the paper I used the stamps Steampunk Key V651, Letter Context V260, Corner2 V299, Grunge Swirl V540, Splash Background V283 and Three Medium Keys V45.
But first I smeared the watercolour paper with Distress Inks Pumice Stone and Victorian Velvet.
Then I stamped all images with Pumice Stone and sprayed the paper with Glimmer Mist Pearl.

While the paper was drying, I coloured the main image with the same Distress colours, which I used for the papers.

As the paper was dried, I die cut petals, built a flower and attached this with a brad onto the card.
For further decoration I used a crochet lace, a doily lace, rhinestones and head pins, die cut keys and swirls, punched out a butterfly and tied a bow and fastened it also with a brad.
