Hello everyone!!!

Kristina from Kristina’s Art Corner is here.
After a long time I am here again with my DT Projects for Vilda Stamps! This time I used Boy With Slingshot and Strawberry girl stamps set (Pojke med Slangbella och Jorgubbsflicka)

I stamped image with Extreme Black ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored with my Copic Markers

E000, E00, E13, E21 / R17, R20, R21, R27, R39, R46 / YG03, YG05 / Y07 / W02, W06 +Blender.When coloring was done I added some highlights with White gel pen.

After coloring I die cut panel using MFT Stitched Tag Corner Rectangle Stax. Background panel I die cut from Red cardstock using MFT A2 Stitched Rectangle Stax set 1. On that panel With Extreme Black ink I stamped strawberries from the set in two different sizes.

Sentiment is from MFT More Essential Sentiments stamps set and I stamped with black ink on Sentiment strip die cut with MFT Bleuprints 31.

For second card on small panel I stamped boy and colored him with E000, E00, E13, E21, E23, E25, E27, E29 / W2, W6, W7 +blender / B26, B91, B93, B95.

For background panel this time I used Blue cardstock and stamped soccer balls several times with black ink.

For sentiment and sentiment strips I used the same products as for the first project.

Happy Spring

Hello, friends!
It’s Nancy here with my turn to share some fun projects!

Today is the first day of Spring, so I have made a Happy Spring card.
I am using Vilda Stamps V701 – Wooden Fence with Mailbox.

Here it is:

Doesn’t that look suitable Spring-ish?
I stamped the image onto heavy watercolour paper,
and coloured it with watercolour pencils and a water brush.

When it was all dry,
I distressed the edges, and adhered it to a bright green card base.

Here’s a closer look at the image:

I knew I wanted the card to say “Happy Spring”.
I found a “Happy” die but no Spring, so I die-cut letters instead.
These were cut out of the heavy watercolour paper and adhered in place.
I really like the mix of fonts!

AC Cardstock;
Ranger Archival Ink – Jet Black;

Happy Easter Treat Box and Card

Hello again, everyone!

It’s Nancy back to show you my second project!

This time I have a fun little Easter project to share.
I have created a Pillow Box, along with a little Easter Card.

I have used the Twigs Stamp Set V435, and English Texts 2010 V693.

Here’s my fun little Easter Set:

Here’s a closer look at the little note card.
It measures only 2 1/4″ square.
I first stamped the greeting with orange ink but it was quite faint.
I then stamped green over the orange, and I liked it.

To make the pillow box, I started with a piece of Bristol Paper.
I created a resist by heat embossing the twig stamps randomly over the paper,
using white embossing powder.
I then spritzed the paper with water, and sprinkled it with Color Burst Powder.
I added more water, as I wanted to keep everything light fresh.
To present it, I filled it and wrapped it with white seam binding.

Here’s a closer look at the embossed twigs.
The detail is fantastic!

Here I’ve removed the seam binding so you can have a better look.

This is the other side.I really love these twig stamps.
They’ll be fun for so many different projects!

I thought the end result was perfect for an Easter treat set.
Wouldn’t it be fun to have a whole basket of these boxes in a variety of pastel colours?
The twig stamping is so very Springy!

Happy Smiles Birthday Card

Hello, everyone!
It’s Nancy back to share my first project with you for today!

Today I’m sharing a Birthday Card I made.

For this card I used one of the adorable characters from the Best Friends Stamp Set V860.
I also used a sentiment from the English Texts Set V763.

I stamped the image and sentiment with black archival ink,onto watercolour paper.
Then I coloured the image using watercolour pencils and a water brush.
I die-cut and layered my stamped pieces on some lovely glittery paper.

This was a birthday card that I actually sent off in the mail.
I thought the sentiment was appropriate!

This is such a sweet image and so fun to colour!

easter postcard

I’m back with my second contribution for today.

This time with a little Easter postcard.

I used therefore the sweet stamp with the number V835.

I love the little sweeties. This little one is so cute with his carrots.
