Irene Tan
I am Irene Tan, from Malaysia and a mother of two blessings. I love the beauty of combining art and creativity with the magnificent world of scrapping and crafting. I love to experiment with all the wonderful crafting and scrapping products in the market and come up with new ideas in using them.
My inspirations of my work comes from everywhere. From the photographs to my surroundings and from the stories to the emotional attachment I have towards a specific project. My projects had always been a story teller. It’s meant to tell the stories of each subject or topic of the projects. It’s also my thoughts and view of that particular project.
My style is more into distressed/ephemera with loads of details. However, I am also able to work with other styles comfortably with a twist of my own. I love challenges and innovative assignments. I’m looking forward to come up with a book for all my techniques if a great publisher comes along.
