A Steampunk Christmas Card

Hello everyone!

Thanks for checking back again for my second card today.

I have to admit that 95 % of my crafts are cute. But when I saw those new steampunk stamps by Vildastamps I had to have them. And so I made a CAS card, which is really rare for me, but I like the outcome:

I made a watercolor background using Distress Ink and then stamped and heat embossed  a stamp from each of the Steampunkt Christmas with English Lyrics and the Steampunk Winter with English Lyrics stamp sets on that background. I just love the rings with the script and little snowflakes in these stamp designs!

I used another stamp from one of these sets for the sentiment here. I was stamped and again heat embossed on Vellum and then I used some turquoise cardstock to mat this saying. Inbetween those layers I added a cut out star and some turquoise metallic string.

With a few rhinestones on the card base I added the touch of glitz a christmas card needs.

Have a happy time!

Hugs, Kathrin
