This card is made with Stamp V702 which is called ‘Handsome gentleman’.
I added some gears on which I put some frantage, which I heated with the heatgun. The filmstrip, bowler hat and moustache are specific for Charlie. The clock symbolizes the faded times and the wooden stars the well known star he has been.
I think you all recognize him as Charlie Chaplin, who lived from 1889 – 1977. He was a British artist, performer, producer, composer and comedian. Besides he also did mime and vaudeville. So, a versatile person. I stamped and colored him with distress ink.
Here’s the fabulous saying, which is so true! After stamping I distressed the edges and stuck it on some corrugated cardboard.
