Sundown by the lighthouse

Hi everyone!

Today I want to start out with a 4″x4″ card.
I started by stamping the lighthouse stamp nr. V593.
I then drew the rest of the scene by repeating the shapes in the stamped image,
and lastly I colored everyting with watercolors.

Creating backgrounds

327 V boy or girl.

I’m sitting there full of it to create custom backgrounds. It’s so fun to do. Do not be afraid to pull as freehand lines and at random.
With an archival black stamp on aquarell paper and color it with markers and aqua water brush desired.

Keep 4 colors for the background.

4 aqua color markers, use the thick, a little put the marker flat and drawing lines. Directly on a folded card. Horizontally or vertically.
Different colors cardstock behind the stamp.
Attach all with double-sided tape and foam together.
Do not forget the inside of the card and the rear side, the flap of the envelope.

So you get a nice set of card and envelope. I wonder if you are as enthusiastic about making your own backgrounds as me. Only the combination of colors is fun.

Zentangle Tree

This is not a traditional card but a tag.
I used stamp V16 V and 693 colored with zentangles. You use the stamp is now a completely different way.
Supplies:
Thick aquarellpapier 9x 14 cm
Black cardstock 10 x 15 cm
Clear embossing powder embossing and hairdryer
Distress ink pads 2 colors and distress tool

Versamark clear
String, iron, tissues
Set Manga fineliners black various sizes
White gel pen writing

With versamark clear the stamp on a piece aquarellpapier.
Sprinkle with clear embossing powder and dryer make heat.
2 colors of distress ink with distress tool apply color. Many Bene with water.
Iron warm and clear embossing powder melt away between tissue paper by ironing over the paper. This creates a blank print. With the thinnest fineliner first check the outside lines. Now fill the patches with dashes and dots.

Hearts of flowers with white gel pen writing
A text at the bottom.
Tag cut to size.
With round punch and glossy black paper a round punching. Fold.

Top with slices between cord.
